Hey! I’m Sara.
I’m a mom, wife, sister, daughter, and friend.
I’m in my 30s and 4 years alcohol-free. I’ve also quit smoking cigarettes and weed. I’ve officially ended my long-term relationship with all my go-to coping substances. It wasn’t always pretty, but it was absolutely worth it.
Living an alcohol-free life didn’t just give me my mornings back, it gave me myself back. The real me. The one who’s brave enough to dream, motivated enough to follow through, and grounded enough to know that healing isn’t linear, but it’s always possible.
I created this space to share what I’ve learned about sobriety and recovery and what it’s like to rebuild your identity when you stop numbing and start feeling again.
If you’ve ever thought:
“Why can’t I stop?”
“Does everyone drink like this?”
“Is it bad that I already want a drink and it’s 2 p.m.?”
You’re in the right place.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress, honesty, humor, and holding space for the messy middle. Whether you’re sober curious, just starting out, or quietly Googling “do I have a problem?” I see you. I’ve been you. And I’m here to tell you it gets better.
This is a judgment-free, shame-free, real-life space.
Because sobriety isn’t the end of fun, it’s the beginning of freedom.
